Go Green at High Hopes

This week at High Hopes Challenges our Hostess is the fabulous Tina.She would like to see us using GREEN on our projects.

 I of course took this opportunity to make a St Patty Days card and using my favorite frog ! ! I also thru in some pink,couldn't help myself.

Now this card is a Criss Cross card.It's my first time making this.FUN...I think though because I'm used to using larger card sizes ,I will try that in the future.You know more room to embellishment .

This sentiment just cracks me up..it had to go on the pull out tab.

New High Hopes Challenge

It's a new challenge at High Hopes today.We have a fabulous sketch from Sirpa.As always I am a big fan of sketches.They really get the mojo going and can always be reused,twisted and tweaked ! ! Today my card features a stamp from Laurie.Those who know me,know I am a fan of kitties !!And this one is a cutie. Unfortunately my coloring skills were lacking on this card.I just couldn't get it to work. Oh well win some lose some ! LOL

Those lovely  papers are from My Mind`s Eye.Very springy ! ! The flowers are from 

Wild Orchid Crafts. Lace ribbon-stash,hearts gems are from Prima. The Ù` is from Pink Paislee and the `make my heart happy`are from Cosmo Cricket ,Tiny alphabet.

Graphicat Sketch time ! !

It's that time.It went by quick didn't it ! This Graphicat Sketch rocks,well actually they all do. LoL Now there's a little story behind my card.My boss and friend ,Cheri slipped and fell .We believe she has done some major damage..surgery may be in the future.Poor woman ! ! Rest assured we are all spoiling her needs and wants as she lies stuck in her bed unable to get up and move about.I made this card as a little humor in her awful situation. This shall be in your hands tomorrow hun !

My image and senti is from High Hopes Stamps.The papers are from Authentique Free bird. My strips are cheesecloth with I dabbed a little Antique linen distress stain. It was meant to look like gauze but I don't think it really did.Charms are from my stash and that chipboard flourish is from Make it Crafty.

Beautiful...

It's a picture heavy day..lol. I apologize cause I didn't realize they were out of focus.

I made this card book again,don't think I'm gonna do this again lol ! !You won't believe the hours I have into it.Mind you some products and I had some disagreements.lol.It's all good they're in the trash now ! !

I used a Magnolia stamp called Hawaiian Flower.She is so cute.Yes I did add a nose and smile.

My papers are from Bo Bunny called Gabrielle. Love love this line.

Those two beauty butterflies are from Prima which I inked  with Inkagold( a mixture of rose and Indian yellow).The little butterflies are from a punch in my stash.The fence border is from Quickutz.The bling lace on the spine is also from Prima. The flowers..Wild Orchid Crafts.

The flowers were spritzed with Lindy's Stamp gang Stardust.

The sentiment is from CC Designs...

High Hopes Tutorial

 I apologize,I had total intentions of having a Valentines card for you today but I had a busy weekend.We have been getting things organized for my oldest daughters graduation.We did get her dress picked out and on order.So that's a check off the list.lol.

Time is beautiful...

I made this card for someone VERY special.I can't say who cause she doesn't have it yet.I hope she will love this as much as I do.I have to say that this card is one where I stepped back and said WoooWee ! ! LOL  

This is one of the new images from Tickled Pink which you can find at

 Graphicat Designs. Now I also have to say coloring in pastel colors was out of my comfort zone.But I'm pleased with how it turned out. I really wanted to play with this paper from Authentique.

Now all this fab gold all over my card is InkaGold.Looove this stuff.I added it to the edges,flowers and even all over the chipboard watch.The little rose buds were even dipped in Inkagold. 

See the fabulous shimmer...it was hard to get a picture showing this.lol

So my sister asked me to make a card for her friend.A little something from my nephew..So I used this cute monkey from High Hopes Stamps.Nothing screams party like a monkey grabbing the cupcake eh? 

The papers are from Bo Bunny called Sweet Tooth.Love it ! The chipboard banner is from Maya road.I painted the bottom layer and papered the top.

Each layer has glitter along the edges...
