Pink Cat

Sorry I haven't been around,I haven't been feeling very well.So here's the card I promised.
This is a new Pink Cat Studio stamp.I absolutely love them.Isn't that bird so cute.I forgot about him and had to color and add as an after thought.These stamps are so affordable too.You get her,the bird (on a mug) and sentiment,all for $8- (cad).There is 2 others that are so cute also.You can find these at Creative Accents.
The paper is from Cosmo Cricket.I can't remember where I got the snowflake brads.They were just in my stash.Oh,I colored the images with copics and added some liquid applique to her hat and cuffs.

Brrr....Doraline

Oops forgot to add this card to yesterdays post.I really love these colors together.I embossed some metallic paper with snowflakes and also the white cardstock.The image is Doraline from Motivet.And that great snowflake brad is from Karen Foster.I Added some rubons and ribbon ,that's pretty much it.Love simple and pretty.

I was at it again today with my girlfriend but didn't get far,I only made 1 1/2 cards.That's right a half...the one,was just not coming together for me.And that took me all day.We won't discuss how many SHE made!! So maybe I'll finish it tommorow and take their pics and post for ya later.Enjoy this one though!!

More Xmas cards

Last wekend my girlfriend and I thought we would get a start on our Christmas cards.I don't know exactly how much of a start I got cause I only made 7 cards.I guess if they are for next year I guess I'm right on schedule!!

So in the above pics,the PP are from Webster's Pages and the stamps I borrowed from her I believe are from Close to my Heart.I'm pretty sure they are from last year.Still saw them and had to ink it up!!!I love that deer!

Now this stamp I bought last year and got to ink it up this year! Told ya,I'm right on track.heehee.I'm pretty sure it's from Impression Obsession.I embossed with champagne added some glitter,colored the deer a little.So sweet.

This is Henry the mouse from Whiff of Joy.I fell in love with him right away!These papers went fantastically together.They are from Imaginisce.Can't tell in the picture but there is glitter on the paper,I kinda wish I bought more of this paper.But if you're like me, you probably have more xmas paper than you know what to do with.Nut with all these fab papers being released I can't help myself! Great for the store not so much for my purse!

Pretty Poinsettia

Another xmas card to show you..I bought this stamp by Stampendous sometime ago and was ago excited to ink it up.I stamped and embossed this twice so I could  3d it .I actually paper pieced it on Webster's pages PP and I colored the leaves.The other patterned paper is also Webster's pages.I added some ribbon and pearls.

Happy with Harmonie!

I love these new papers in at Creative Accents.This is the Halloween line from Harmonie.Their papers are Fab! I had to play with them.This is Doraline from Motivet,she is soooo cute!This next card also uses the Halloween paper from Harmonie.The stamp has been paper pieced and is from Hero arts.The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms(look for it soon at the store).This set has Fall & Xmas sentiments!! I added a little swirl from QK.Booth fun & simple! Enjoy!

Fall Fall Fall !

Just a couple REALLY quick and easy fall cards.I really do love Fall,it has such great colors! I get so excited for all the fall collections to be released.I think I would create all year long if I could.It's really hard to see Xmas cards right now cause I STILL want to do FALL!!

So onto the card....I used the Basic Grey Indian Summer papers and pumpkins from...gee,I can't remember.Sorry.Bling was from Prima and some ribbon.

Now onto something I do not enjoy making...Sympathy cards.I made this for a friend who's sister recently passed away from cancer at a age of 27.Sometimes it seems like it's just not fair.My heart goes out to all those families who suffer with such pain.     

I used BoBunny papers and the stamped image is from Inkadinkado.I really love this stamp,but didn't picture using it for a sympathy card,but for some reason it works,you agree?The image is actually a darker brown,cameras! huh ! I added some ribbon and pearls for a softer look.The sentiment is from Paper Studio.This Sympathy Sentiment pack is very nice.Of course all these products can be found at Creative Accents.

Fabulous Emma

My daughter Emma is Fab but I'm talking about this image from Stamping Bella Emma (Lulu collection).Isn't she so sweet.I distressed around the image.I used My Mind's Eye papers,love the deep colors.The sentiment is from Hero Arts.I Glimmer Misted the flowers,...man do I love Glimmer Mist!!! It's addicting!Try it ,you'll see what I mean.lol.The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Sweet as Cherries

I have to say I'm a sucker for cherries so it goes without hesitation to buy this stamp! This is a cling stamp from Hero Arts.The cherries were paper pieced ou tof glitter paper.I colored with Copics and matted on the same glitter paper as the cherries.The PP is from Basic Grey..Figgy Pudding.I know it's Xmas but it worked!The brads are from Doodlebug.Enjoy.

Spooky Halloween Bats & Mummys

I actually got around to making halloween cards this year instead of just buying all the fabulous stuff and not actually using it! Although I do have a great stash of halloween products.
Anyhoo,onto the card...the Bat flourish(embossed) stamp is Inkadinkado (of course from last year).The "Scary" sentiment is Studio G.It's hard to tell in this pic but the bat(QK die) attached by the ribbon is from QK flocked rolls.I added some green stickles for eyes.The paper is from Basic Grey.

These cards I can't claim any ownership for the idea,I had seen it sometime ago,tweeked it a little.I like the whole mummy look,but the google eyes really made it for me.This was very simple & quick.

Bundle of Joy

I made this sample of a baby annoucement.I think this layout would be simple enough to mass produce.The stamps are from 3 Bugs in a Rug and the paper is from Little Yellow bicycle.I love this paper for anything ,baby or not.lol.The Lace punch is Martha Stewart.I distressed the edges of the Paper.And a little pearl for the flower...Enjoy!

Get Sketchy Class

Well I've broke down and decided to teach classes.This could go well or I could end up with a new job.haha.I used to be nervous about teaching in front of people.I think I'm over that,now I'm nervous whether or not you'll like my samples enough to do the class or if you do come to one ,Did I teach well? I know GET OVER IT!

You warm my heart

Another card from  last year...But hey you haven't seen them so that's kinds new right?

This is probably my most favorite Changito from Stampendous.He is so cute.I love the sentiment too.The papers are from My Mind's Eye.Poinsettia is from Prima.

I don't think it was a Christmas line(could be wrong:)but it work's.I like how some lines of paper don't necessarly have to be themed to work just as long as the color works.What do you think??

Peace On Earth Friends

Isn't this such a cute image and so much FUN to cut out too.HaHa.I made this card last year,still love it.This is a House Mouse,and the sentiment is from hero arts.I like the effect the Bazzil dots gives to the card.This was my first coloring with copics.EEEEKKK!But I 'm learning and practicing.

                 I made this card for my girlfriend's daughter for her 13th birthday.She loves horses and is not really a girly girl,so I thought this would work(it did).
I can't quite remember who the stamp is,but I do know the PP is from 7Gypsies.This card didn't seem to take long to come together,but I like the end result.Sometimes I feel if I don't spend hours on a card then its not worthy,go figure that I didn't have to on this one and I actually like it :)

Bewitched a tude

I really love this line from Stamping Bella....this is Bewitched-a-tude.Is she fabulous!I paper pieced her dress and cat.I colored her with copics then cut her out and put her on this spider web that I cut from my silhouette.The patterned paper is from Pink Paislee's "Twilight" collection.My image is on a postcard ,what a great way to use them,I think.I also gave all the papers a distressed and torn look.Enjoy....

Birthday Card for Birthday Girl

                 I made Tara her birthday card. I have liked this stamp set from hero arts for awhile now and was excited to finally get to use it.I used WeRMemory keeper PP,which also has been waiting awhile to be used!Isn't this dress adorable! I love how the flowers match the paper,this was fun to make.

I made this card for my girlfriend's hubby to say thank you for taking my girls out tubing.The inside says "thanks for the ride!"

I used nestabilities for the circles and DP is from Basic Grey.I thought the circles in the background were perfect,I added diamond glaze to the eyes.There is even some spica for fun!!

Gorgeous Gertie

Did you ever have one of those days where you wanted to throw your camera thru the window? I took at least 20 pictures of this card and could not get the color right.The flower is more a bright pink,the background paper is from Basic Grey Bittersweet,so you know its all the pink ,deep pink not red.I just could not get the color right no matter what adjustment I set.I even took this outside in the daylight to get the natural light! The turquoise is right,go figure!!Anyway the image is from Stampin'Bella "Gertie".Isn't she sweet! The adhesive black swirls is from Queen &Co. Gertie's hair and dress is sparkled with Spica!

Baby Boy

I made this card for my cousin who had a baby and actually remembered to take a picture before giving it away! Yes I do have a tendency to do that,not just once! HaHaa.
I love this little guy from House Mouse.The DP is from My Mind's eye.I embossed the backside of the DP.I love double side paper.I used Martha Stewart punch for the border.Ribbon ...can't remember...I guess I've had it awhile.I even put glossy accents on the diaper.The brad is from 3 bugs in a rug (I think).The white circle is from Doodlebug and is flocked!!

Totally Tubing ! ! ! !

I'm sorry I haven't posted much in the last couple of weeks.It's been a busy summer.I did want to share however what we've been doing....The kids and I went to a girlfriends house in Oyama,BC(just North of Kelowna)...Her Hubby and us went down to the lake and took the kids tubing for the first time ever! They had a BLAST! The looks on their faces are priceless..I'm so glad I was able to get some good shots.
The weather was hot at a whopping 43 degrees(109)...but the water was FINE!!I'm so glad that I was able to spend time with the girls and not thinking about anything stressful! Yes I too went tubing for the 1st time as well.I have to say say I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!!So enjoy the pics and I promise to be back with some creations!!!!

Happy upcoming birthday Tanya... Here in Norway they have a nice system with credit cards you get from the bank - they take a digital image of you on the back side for it to work as ID and you can actually veto the image and make them take a new one if it's gross :D However, I don't know if it works that way with a license, since I have mine from Finland (and I look horrible in it...).

But remember girl, women are like wine - they only get better when they get older! So worry not ^_^ And you can always answer if someone comments on your photo: "You should've seen the other guy" as if you'd been in a fight ;)

Oh yea, and I was already following you, so no referrals here. Hope your girl's okay!

I've had this image colored for some time.I finnally put her onto a card.I like the bright summery feel it gives.The images are from High Hopes.The sentiment is from SU.I forgot I had it.I even stamped ,cut out ,then 3d' the watermelon.I wsih I could rememberthe name of the PP but it was a scrap.Enjoy.

I went green...whimsy green that is!HaHA.This stamp is from Whimsy Stamps.It's a simple look but I like it.Well the frog has a simple look too eh?Betcha your thinking he reminds me of someone you know!HeeHee...The sentiment is from Impression Obsession.This is becoming a favorite sentiment pack.I'm glad that you can't see his eyes up close because oops I put crackle accents on instead of glossy accents....I guess I should pay attention a little better! Another Motivet stamp featuring Doraline....and again I used BoBunny Papers.Hey when something works ,go with it right.How can you not love those papers.I forgot to mention(sorry my memory is about the size of a pea and thats giving too much credit to a pea!)...I colored with copics in all my images.I'm hoping with practice my shading will improve..cross your fingers for me!lol.Enjoy!

Butterfly Wishes

This card was created by my daughter.She was inspired from PageMaps.She used Inkadinkado Butterfly stamps which are embossed in gold.I love the turquoise and green!Isn't it Fab.I would love to hear your comments to pass along to her..even advice she likes to hear!

We had a visitor in our driveway this morning! In the first photo you notice my little dogs letting the deer know who's yard it is...not too intelligent I know!

Glimmer Mist Makeover!

That's right Glimmer Mist is getting a new look ..but it's still the same great product!Did you know that they hand label their bottles,that's a whole lot of labels! If you have noticed I have used this product over many of my projects.It looks great on flowers,paper,chipboard,and much more!They have a great line of colors to choose from.They also carry glimmer screens,chipboard(just waiting to be Misted!) and stamps.And of course you can find these at Creative Accents..By the way check out their blog...there is some fantastic projects!

Things have been so busy around my household with the ending of the school year.I took some time to make this card for one of my daughters teachers....And it's manly(ugh).But I'm happy with how it turned out.
The papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle.The stamp is from Stamping Bella.I colored him with copics.I distressed the papers.I had accidentally has torn one side when I was distressing it and well I went with it!!lol.Kinda like the effect.I even used a chalk pencil to smudge the blackboard! Well hope you enjoy.....Back tomorrow with another.
