Have your Elf a Merry little Christmas

Sooo How did you enjoy last week's challenge? Fun right ? Well we've got another one for you !
At High Hopes Challenges we would like to see you using those
SENTIMENTS

This week I am using the image NO PEEKING ELVES and coordinating sentiment from the new release. You must check it out ,this is a fab new line :) You can find the new release here
Ok So I went with the non traditional colors for this card.I don't know why it screamed it lol.
There is red and green in there but just a splash of pink heehee.
My papers are from Kaisercrafts Silly Season....see even the name suited this stamp lol . I decided to paper piece my image. Sure cuts down on coloring time :) The tag and arrow was part of the paper pack, great for coordinating embellishments
I used  this precious ornament die from Memory Box cut from the patterned paper.

I of course added glitter everywhere ...well you know me haha

Thanks for stopping by and would love to see what you create !!

Boo Boo

HI Everyone.I'm excited to tell you guys that I will be guest designing for High Hopes Stamps. This team is like family for me.I think I'm just gonna feel right at home like always :) How could I say no...I mean these stamps just melt my heart so without further ado..here's first card up in the next month of cards.
This weeks challenge is fabulous. This one made me do the unbelievable lol

STITCHING
faux or sewing
Now typically I faux go it lol.But NO I actually took out the sewing machine and stitched on EVERY layer.YES I did I know right !!! Now for me it started off a little uneasy, because well sewing machines and I have an equal relationship of not liking each other lol.
So I am using this cute kitty for my image..Kittys Broom
My papers are from Bo Bunny.I sure to be using a lot of Bo Bunny lately lol.Not really sure why.Hmmm..
Those caaauuute clothespins are from Jillibean Soup .The pumpkin and bat chipboard pieces are from Jillibean as well.I embossed those with embossing powder from Lindy's Stamp gang...love the colors. I actually used two different colors to get that neat effect.

Thanks for stopping by Sure hope you can join us :)

DREAM & JOURNEY

Hi today I am showing some mixed media work.I am loving working with this art lately. I love working with  gesso, paint ,and sprays...so much fun and easy to do.

First up is a canvas...in both projects I have used dies to cut out of card stock as well as chipboard.
Basically you start off priming your canvas with Gesso.A couple layers if your gesso is on the cheaper side.I then cut out all my designs. Gluing them down and covering them with gesso. I also layed down stencils using texture paste to give dimension.Once you have your layout you then can start spraying...Once I was happy with that I took paint and dry brushed the tops to highlight the dies. And adding gems and pearls.

My second project is a journal that I altered using the similar technique as above.Although instead of paint to highlight I used Inkagold in silver.

Thanks for stopping by Hugs :)

The cute charms in the corner I found in Wal Mart.It just fit perfectly for this card.

Little Dude

Oh my I am so behind in posting.I have done a few things but not much.I actually am starting early on my Xmas cards.I am not one to do this when it's summer.I need to be in the mood.A little snow or cold air or even hot choco in hand lol. So I figure if I get my coloring done I am already ahead of the game.I gotta tell you it's not easy coloring snowmen with the sun shining down lol.

But I do have a cute little summery card for you.It was my cousin's boy's 5th birthday and the family gathered to the lake to celebrate.I totally cased this card from Debby :) thanks hun.It is on a simpler side but for a five year old,,,,perfect :)
This image is a Mo Manning and  my papers are from Bo Bunny lemonade.very fun and bright collection.
