PEACE. LOVE. JOY

Ok I'm repeating, hopefully ,what is not a pattern.I slinking in with this weeks Sketch Staurday's entry. This one was fun to work with,I think I may repeat this one.
Haha repeat....This reminds me of our cat Garth who had kittens .Yes you read right,Garth was supposed to be a boy,but one evening she had a surprise for us .In this batch were twin black FLUFFY kittens. My husband decided to name them Pete and Repeat.
Sorry a little off the road there. Onto my card...
I used LOV's cute little baby penguins. This image is so simple to color, making some quick cards. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.I used MS border punch, using the snowflakes for my added embelly. As well  the GlitterRitzed Maya Road snowflake.
I decided to add some twinklets for the snow and icicles. Here's a close up view...

Fa La La La La

So I've been anxiously awaiting to use this paper pad from Cosmo Cricket, called Mitten Weather.Normally I'm not to much a fan of pastels but this caught my eye.And well I do like purple and the tealie minties.(I'm quite sure that's not a word cause my spell check is having a melt down.)lol.So it was a sinker for me!

The stamp I used is from Whipper Snapper.I colored them up with my copics.I added some ribbon around the image. Then I added the chipboard mittens from CC for an added embelli.Of course some bling too.OOH and the best part was taking a Maya Road Snowflake and Spritzed it with 2(that's right,2)colors of Glimmer Mist.Well that's about it..

Nothing but a Candle

So Stamptacular Sunday's Challenge is Anything but a card. Now you can make anything you want just NOT a card.I gotta say this was a challenge for me.Not cause I can't make anything other than a card,I just gotta be in the mood.As you can tell I wasn't feeling this one.But it's a challenge and that's what it's about.

So onto my project,as you can see I decorated a candle.I did stamp though,on the card stock.I stamped and embossed in silver some snowflakes. For an added touch I added some pearl bling.I did start a pattern but then that went down the toilet.I gotta tell ya ,it looks fabulous in my head!!

PS Thank you Stamptacular Sunday for chosing me for the TOP 3 Winners in
last weeks challenge.I will display my badge proudly!!

Good Friends

This week's sketch at Friday Sketchers is fabulous.I have a feeling I'm gonna use this one over and over again.I really had fun with it.Plus I combined it with Stamptacular Sunday's Challenge. How fun is this??..BFF! Buttons, Flowers and Friend(ship)!

For this challenge you will need to create a card or project that includes buttons, flowers and the word, “FRIEND or FRIENDSHIP” somewhere on your completed submission! The rest is completely up to you! …Oh, and don’t forget to STAMP! After all, they don’t call this STAMPtacular Sunday for nothing!

I may have gone overboard on all.lol.I used Yin and Yang from Whipper Snapper. The sentiment is from My Favorite things(I think). I  was almost sure I didn't have any sentiments that had friend or friendship ,but low and behold I had a lot.More than I thought I did.LOL.So yeah!!..
Now I cased from my friend CHERI(thanks)the twinklets on the flowers.I bought this with intentions of using it for snow on my cards but I like this idea too!So I hope you like.

Back later with another card.

So my best friend's daughter celebrated her 19th birthday yesterday.Boy does that age you fast.I used to babysit her and then she babysat MY kids. Now I'm sitting in a bar having a drink with her.Something just not right here.LOL.They grow up so fast, and she has grown into such a beautiful woman.
So I wanted to make beautiful card..
The image I used here is from Whiff of Joy.And this PP I haven't even had in my hands more than two days!I'm just in love with this line. It's from SEI called Moonrise. It has those oranges, yellows, black ,greens and browns. It's hard to see in the pictures but there's gold foil in the papers too.I think you could get away with an Asian look too.
Side view.....On that flower is the metal accent filigree that coordinates with the Moonrise line.I added of course some flowers and Bling from Prima.

Special Birthday Blog Hop

Today is a special day for a very special person. To celebrate we're hosting a Birthday Blog Hop.Not only does she have oodles of talent but she is the most caring, kind, gentle, and funny woman.I'm happy to say she's not just a cropping buddy and fellow teammate but a friend as well.
So this card and BIRTHDAY wish is for you Cheri ! I hope your day is more special than you are!
So If you'd like to start from the top, go here and see the talented Janet first..

I have used an image from High Hopes Rubber Stamps called "Cat-ching Some Rays"and the matching sentiment. Now this is fitting for Cheri because she has a love for 3 things...the Color PINK ,Cats & Coffee.Although I should point out that she also loves dogs(Don't worry Tonka,Mommy loves you!).

Side-ish view?! LOL .I 3D his head and wanted to show it to you.
I also used Mojo Mondays Sketch for this card.I think I'll use this one more than once..

Now I have another card to show you that a fellow friend has made for Cheri but does not have a blog,So while you're here you can have a looksee.Marianne wanted to encorporate all her favs...

HaaHaa,Pink cat holding a coffee cup!! I believe he's a Whipper Snapper and the PP are from Basic Grey. Now I forgot to take a picture of the inside but the sentiment had said "Behind a successful woman is a whole lotta' coffee".So I hope you enjoyed, now to continue to the next stop is the Fabulous Dorothy.

Bit by Marvin ! !

AHHHHH I got bit by Marvin.Bahaaaaahaaa.Just kidding.I got "bit" by his cuteness though. He's so adorable. He's from Stamping Bazzar. You'll get to see him again.Heehee.

I entering him into Friday's Sketchers Challenge and Stamptacular Sunday's challenge. SS's challenge was to "Layer it on" and create a card that has at least FIVE layers! The occasion you choose is completely up to you! …Oh, and don’t forget to STAMP! After all, they don’t call this STAMPtacular Sunday for nothing!  So I chose to use this sketch and HALLOWEEN! !

I used the Halloween papers from BoBunny. Not your typical colors for Halloween but then again I like to go a little off the board.HEHEEE.I also used the Martha Stewart border punch Drippy Goo,ya know for the caramel! The ribbon is from Maya Road. It's clear with black swirls.LOVE IT!Not so easy to tie though but stapling works.
As you can almost see(lol) I added glossy to the caramel part of the apple.I had a hard time taking a pic of it withe gloss and dimension. But i assure you it looks real cool in person. And as you can hopefully see all the layers. For some this is a challenge to add layers, but I happen to like adding layers.Try and I think you'll find you'll like it too!

Inside card view....All sentiments are from Kraftin' Kimmie.
