It's Turkey Time...Gobble til you Wobble

Well Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends.Over at Scrap-Creations the team have been busy making cards to celebrate.As you guessed it our theme this week is ..

THANKSGIVING 

So onto my card...I teamed up this sentiment from Whipper Snapper ...which just cracked me up.I got to thinking how cute it would be for this to be on your place setting for Thanksgiving or Xmas or whatever...

My turkey is from Just Inklined ,he's giving the thumbs up ! ! These two together are perfect ! The papers are from KaiserCraft Velvet. I also used Mojo Monday's sketch from last week.Very quick and easy!

Today at Scrap-Creations we have a good challenge for you.

"TAG  IT"

We would like to see you use tags on your project or even make a tag.With Christmas right around the corner,now's the time to make those tags for your gifts.

I used a tag from Tim Holtz and added it to my card.My images are from Just Inklined and

  Graphicat Designs.

I even added a border drippy goo on the bottom of the tag with added stickles.

Boo!

Hello...I hope everyone had a great weekend.Here in Canada was Thanksgiving weekend.I was able to spend some time with ALL of my family yesterday.My girls all had plans, two were out of town,one for a Avril Lavigne concert and the other at a volleyball tournament.My youngest was at a sleepover ,horseback riding and having all kinds of fun. But we were able to all be together for yummy turkey dinner ! !

But just around the corner is Halloween...so at Scrap-Creations our theme of course is

HALLOWEEN

So let's see all those fabulous and spooky creations.I LOOOOVE Halloween ! !

Here's what I came up with.I created an easel card ,something I haven't done in awhile.

I used an image from Just Inklined and a NEW sentiment from Graphicat Designs. You'll find plenty more awesome sentiments and images for Halloween.

Mojo Mr & Mrs

Hi Just a quick post....I made another wedding card.This card I used Mojo Monday's sketch.Love this one.It was a fun one,think I'll use it again.I used some papers from SEI and KaiserCraft.

Now here's the cool thing,the blue paper is actually white with foil.I used Broken China Distress stain on it.The foil part of the paper resisted the ink.SOOOO COOL ! ! I added some ribbon and flowers,that about it.Oh and the image is from Just Inklined.

Oh Mirror , MIrror....

Today at Graphicat Sketch Challenge,it's time for a new sketch.Cheri has come up with another fabulous sketch ! ! I used Graphicat Designs' sentiment to match up with this image from Just Inklined.

Oh my it cracked me up ! ! I just couldn't help myself. I think on the inside I'll do a sentiment in regards to " Yeah,another birthday"...Some deets..the papers are from My Mind's Eye.Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and ribbons from my stash.

You know you're Old....

Boy I hope my Dad really loves me or has the capacity to forgive me quickly.LOL.

I made this card for his birthday.I went for humour rather than sentimental.

This image is from Just Inklined.He cracked me up so I needed a funny sentiment to go with it.The papers are from KaiserKraft.Those tickets are actually paper that I cut into strips.I added crackle accents to it.Love that affect.There some great Tim Holtz tissue tape under there too.

Here's a "CRACKLE" close up..And glossy for the glasses.

I'm FLUFFY !

Now I've had this sentiment from Penny Black for sometime and was just waiting for the right image to come along. I think this one did it for me.I had to laugh when I saw this.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye.Of course the flowers are fromWild Orchid Crafts.The button is actually a chipboard button from Maya Road which I got from Creative Accents.I used Glimmer Mists chalkboard to color it.I used Spellbinders Nestie for the circle and a MS border punch for the strip to the side.

As you can see not bad here is DG3 for the fishbowl.It's quite thick,that I couldn't get a good pic of.But it's a heck of a bubble!!

Valentine with humour...

Here's a Valentine without the mushy sentiment..Heehee.This sentiment was created by Cheri at Graphicat Creations.It just cracked me up.I wanted to match it with this image from Just Inklined.

I had made this card with full intentions to enter into Stamptacular Sunday's challenge but with my 'puter issues it didn't make it so here it is anyway........

The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious.Here's a close up of the fluffy slippers.Yep I have a thing for fluffy slippers.LOL

Birthday Blues..

Well I've been trying to stock on my birthday cards.I think this needs to be my resolution for 2011.I always seem to not have enough birthday cards on hand.When I think of somebody's birthday it's too late.Hmmm maybe I should just make "sorry I forgot" cards.LOL.

So onto my card...I had to laugh when I seen this image.The hound dog singing the Party blues.Heehee...

I used My Mind's Eye "Tinkled Pink" paper.I also used some chipboard flourishes for accent.I misted them with Glimmer Mist.The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
