Take Life one cup at a time

Ok so my friend Cheri made a reverse canvas and it inspired me to have a go at it.I gotta say I am actually happy with how it turned out.I went with the blues ,browns and cream colors.

There is sooo many details on this thing lol.I will do my best cover it but any questions please ask away . The canvas is an 8x10 size.The layers consist of TH tissue paper and Bo Bunny papers.As well as the clocks were cut from Graphic 45 paper. There is also sprays and inks distressing going on here.

The chipboard corner flourishes are from Blue fern Studios..must get me more lol 

Flowers are from WOC and Prima as are the butterflies 

I was stuck on this corner but I placed this white resin lamppost from Pima but I I used sprays to distress it. 

The cute little bird is Southern Ridge Trading Co.I used some embossing powder on him

The letters were from various chipboard and TH. 

The cups and teapot is also from Southern Ridge Trading Co. LOVE LOVE these. I painted and glittered them up :)

Fairy Garden Canvas

Ok today I am excited to share this.I have been in some sort off mojo rut.Cards just haven't been sparking any interest to me BUT I have found working with mixed media has really boosted my energy. I think about it non stop.I was able to attend a crop a few weeks back and got to play !! Get inky,sticky and full of paint lol !! FUN FUN !  

So I was able to meet the owner of Southern Ridge Trading Co , Karen ! What a sweetie and well enabler lol.... I was able to do some shopping for my all time favorite thing..CHIPBOARD . I found everything I needed and well a heck of  alot more !! Go check it out ( Happy Shopping)

This canvas is just a 6x6 size,I did it small,but kinda wishing I had done bigger,But I am happy with it. There is so much texture in this ..lots of stencils from TH and Memory Box ,texture paste,lace,doily,cheesecloth...spritzed all up.

That cute flourish and bird is from STC..

and so is this Fairy Garden sign !! OMGoodness adorable !! The stems came from blue Fern studios.The mushroom I believe came from fabscraps..don't quote me lol .The fence I have had for some time ,it's Maya road .

The Explore word is also STC ..I had finished this canvas but something was just bugging me about it..I needed a fairy ..so I went online and printed one out and set it on the word...I think she needed to be there.

Pot of love

Oh a day late and a dollar short....I'm pretty sure that should be my name.I should just go have it legally changed lol...sigh ! I made a Valentines cards..actually my one and only lol.

I made it using a Tiddly Ink image...how cute !! The inside of the card,I used the sentiment that came with it :) 

And how adorable is this Prima resin heart wreath,I added a flower to the middle :)

Make A Wish

So I'm behind on posting... today I'm showing you a birthday card I made for a girlfriend.She is a fan of purple.I hope she loves this. There is so much details in this card i hope I can cover it all lol. So first my paper is from Lili of the Valley. My image is Saturated Canary..I believe she is called Up Up Away?? I hope that is right. That butterfly is from Prima. And the cute ribbon is from Bo Bunny.

My flowers are a combo of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts.

My chipboard is from Blue Fern Studios and Kaisercraft.They have been painted ans spritzed with assorted sprays.I just grab sprays and start spraying so sometimes there are layers on these guys lol. 

Oooh I hope you can see the glitter and gloss on those balloons as well as around her.I used glossy accents and smooch. The Make a Wish is a rub on from Tim Holtz..

It's the most wonderful time of the year....

Ok I'm back with another card that I have to say...loving this image.  It's from Kenny K . I wanted to focus on the girl more than the background so I kinda did a tone thing on the background.And went vibrant on her. It just made her pop.I'm loving this hot pink ...not your typical colors for Christmas.

My papers are from Bo Bunny's new Candy Cane lane collection. The flowers are from Prima ,WOC and the white poinsettia is from hero Arts I believe. I actually spritzed the poinsettia up with some glitter spray.

The mittens are a die from Memory Box .Snowflake chipboard is Kaisercraft and painted white with some pearl centers.

The cool border over the cheesecloth is from Blue Fern Studios chipboard..painted with picked raspberry distress paint.

Coffee ...better with friends

Always...well everything is better with friends :) 

So I fell in love with this image ,although I had bought several images lol.Of course who just buys one image ....REALLY not I LMBO.

So this is "Thanks a latte " Are they not adorable or what. I matched up the sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie Coffee sentiments . I used Lili of the Valley paper "Always and Forever" And of course my flowers and canvas butterfly are from WOC and Petaloo. 

I found in my stash some coffee cup and leaves chipboard. It's from Blue Fern Studios.Which I am obsessed with....overly cause I have a lot of their chipboard lol.

Lucky Bamboo

Hi everyone.Welcome to a new challenge.This fortnight we have a fab one at Lacy Sunshine Challenges.

The team is showing off these new cuties,the Flower Pot Pretties.I am using Lucky Bamboo.Isn't she cute? Now this is a little new.the digi comes as three parts,you will receive the pot,the pretty :) and accessories to go with it(bamboo and leaves ) She has been colored with Copics.

My flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. The patterned paper is from Bo Bunny Serenity collection, I also used a piece of brick wall chipboard from Blue Fern Studios.I sprayed with Heidi Swapp spray.I Love Blue Fern Studios.They have a fantastic line of chipboard.You can find them from C'est Magnifique Kits ,a fabulous supplier.

Hug for Ike

OK I have one more card to show you...then on with the festivities. My card features an oldie but goodie. It's from Whipper Snapper. It's called "A hug for Ike"  

I really want to get all the "Ike's" lol. They're so adorable and quick to color.I have used the papers from Wild Rose Studios again. I am just loving them. I have used a Spellbinder die for my image . For my embellies is my usual go to ...chipboard,ribbon and flowers.

I would like to also take the time to say thank you to all my followers for sticking it out with me this year.And I hope to see you all next year as well. I hope you and your family have a fabulous holiday !!

Simple Things Matter Most Canvas

Now my blog has been very quiet. I seemed to not quite found my mojo yet. I have played here and there but not a whole lot.I had made this canvas some time ago ,just forgot to post it.I am hoping to get a few Xmas cards made to show you.Maybe the new year will bring some new mojo eh? Let's hope so.In the meantime thank you for stopping by and being patient that there isn't anything here lol,I promise I will do better,

So onto my canvas,I used my daughter's grad photo shoot pic for this.We had done her photo shoot the next day after grad .So when we were driving to the site my daughter had asked me " Mom since grad is done Can I get my picture done in the river? It's just water and I can get my dress dry cleaned?" So I thought why the heck not..so this has become my fav picture because behind it is the spontaneity of it.

My papers are form Bo Bunny,flowers are from Prima and WOC. The cool chipboard is from Blue Fern Studios.There is lots of sprays,ink and texture on this canvas.It was a lot of fun
