An apple for the Teacher

OK I just have not been paying attention to the time latley. This month has just flown right by me.I realized that I needed to get on making my teacher thank you cards. After all this week two of my daughters will be done school and my youngest daughter is done next week.So I really need to get my butt into gear.

This stamp from High Hopes has been in my mind for awhile. It's perfect for my teacher card.I used papers from Basic Grey's Hello Luscious. I even paper pieced one the books.I added some flowers and some Maya Road chipboard mini flourishes.I inked the flourishes with Peeled Paint Distress Stains.I then spritzed them with Kiwi Perfect Pearls Mist.I am in love with these sprays!!Check out the close up.The cute little charm is from The Ribbon Girl.

CLOSE UP OF FLOURISH.......

Be sure to stop High Hopes Challenge blog for a tutorial today being hosted by Karen. And you still have time to enter our current challenge-Stars and Stripes.

great card, Tanya! The teachers will LOVE it, I know I'd appreciate a handmade card from a student very much :) I love how diverse those papers are- such a different look than I've gotten from the papers I've combined!
