Emma playing again ...

Well Emma was at it again in my craft room.This kid is enjoying this way too much.She keeps bugging me to put all her creations on my blog.lol.If she keeps it up she may have to start her own. So one of her besties has a birthday so she created this card for her.She loves blue and dogs...I think it worked out well.It did make me realize I don't have as many dog stamps as I thought I did.Hmmmm another excuse to go shopping lol. Anyway the image is a Whipper Snapper I think?..I'm not sure what paper it is cause I have a "scrap box" that she has access to ,all my tidbits left over from cards I made.Then I know she isn't getting into the good stuff that I want to use or need.It's a great trade off.

Magical Birthday Wishes Friend

HI there.I must say I'm a happy camper.The weather has cooled right down,even a little rain.I know some of you are like "is she crazy" but I'm not a heat girl so this is a nice break from this hot hot weather.

So onto my card today.I made this for my nail girl,well she does my nails ,pedis and well all the etc. We actually have become great friends.It's nice to get spoiled getting my nails done which by the way SHE IS AMAZING.But over the years we have been each others ears :) We each listen to each other, of course the odd conversation about NOTHING lol. Just some good ol' laughs.I had this image colored and this card seem to take me forever to put together.I worked on it over several days.I'm not kidding.Well the first day I was having issues,then it was hot,couldn't think of how I wanted it.But I'm happy with the end result.

This pic came out weird,the color is actually peach,I have no idea y lol.

 Hi there.I hope your ready for a new challenge at High Hopes.I'm gonna keep this short because my internet keeps acting up and I'm afraid of not getting this post up. We are celebrating kids going back to school Yipeeee !! Only a couple more weeks for mine.Although only two will return,Boy that was weird saying. So I used this cute bear tag

to add to my bookmark.Pretty straight forward.I used Dylusions spray(Lemon Zest) for the tag and some Bo Bunny background stamps.I was also able to use some new Tim Holtz dry glitter on his wings.Too much fun ! !

My little heart breaker turns 16

Hi I wanted to share my daughters 16 th Birthday card. I must say this one was fun to make.I used a Kenny K image Rock girl without the guitar.I had full intentions on using it but the coloring was NOT going well and I was getting tired.lol.So cut it out,what ya do.? 

So I used some Heidi Swap papers ,love love.My daughter love the whole animal thing..leopard print,zebra stripe etc.Now what was cool was my first time playing with Ranger gesso and this Dylusions stencil brick wall. This stuff is fab for that texture look.Speaking of Dylusions I  also used the spray on the flowers and added perfect pearl heirloom gold to give it a grungy look.

Here is my daughter being spoiled getting her toes and nails done...

She got pink leopard toes and pink and orange Zebra nails.I wish I'd remembered to take a pic to post up here for ya :( She was wearing a dress hence the blanket lol. She loved the pedi chair it was massaging her the whole time .

We want to see your grey scale...using black and white.Or if your more comfortable with the warmer color use Sepia.

Today I used this cute kitty tag from our last release.I hadn't had a chance to color him up.His look just melts my heart. The sentiment is also a High Hopes from the release as well.

Nope not a card ! !

I know you're not going to believe what I have to share with you today.Nope it's not a card ! I know !!LOL It's been so long since I have made an altered item.This picture frame has gotten my mojo in gear. I saw it awhile ago and it's been on my mind .I finally just couldn't take it anymore and bought it.Although this was not the pic I had in mind to use but it seemed perfect with this paper. That is my middle daughter.Isn't she pretty.LOL Ok that's a mom's opinion.She is gonna be 16 on the 16th. And with all her medical issues she has to deal with, I wanted this to be special.So it's for her !

After painting the frame with black acrylic paint,I spritzed with perfect pearls and Goosebumps.
