WISH BIG

 I made this birthday card for my daughter for her 19th.Oh my,yep I'm old enough to have a daughter that age lol. And don't worry I have another one creeping around the corner as well. Why is it that when you want to be happy for your child, you know turning 19 ,being excited for her.... but all you wanna do is cry cause that means your older ? lol. I am happy for her just sad ...cause I'm OLD. 

Well I used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with ice cream sundae( I think lol) I'm hoping it looks more cupcakeish. I colored my image to match papers from Lili of the Valley. I added some WOC flowers and ribbon and tada...I did have a cute charm that I was gonna add to the card and totally forgot ooops lol!

A special Birthday for Maci Michael

Today I have a special card to share with you. The Crafty Catz at Graphicat Sketch Challenges are creating birthday cards for s special girl named Maci Michael. You may be familiar to her tragic story..of the loss of her father ,a veteran and hero, He died in a train accident in Midland TX while being honored in a parade. A very sad and heart wrenching story. The idea of making this little girl feel special came about on Facebook on a stamp group that many of the team was a part of...

We all want to make this birthday a very loving and heartwarming one for her as this is her first birthday without her father by flooding this girl with many birthday cards. When our Crafty Momma Cat had asked the design team to participate in this..how could we say no ! It was loud yes' all the way. Hello.....Grow Garden Grow

Good Morning! Welcome to a new challenge at High Hopes. We hope you like this one.Some of you may be seeing peeks of spring already. Me not so much lol,my snow is still trying to melt. This week our challenge is 

GROW GARDEN GROW

You can use any High Hopes Stamp that is found in the garden.
It can be flowers, bugs, gardeners, etc...

I have used Hoppy Day dragonfly.I made (for me) a simple quick card.I seen this idea on pinterest where she punched out circles and added the patterned paper behind it. So I tweeked my card and used that idea. I also added an edge to my card with the trellis punch.I also used some faux stitching around the card and dots around the circle.

Going Mental !!!

Oh boy has spring break ever messed me up.I don't know what day it is or anything.Tuesday morning my daughter got up and we were checking the weather to see what was expected.I said to her well it looks like cloudy today and Tuesday and Wednesday is rain.So off she got ready and it wasn't til afterschool picking her up and going to town that it started to rain.It then clicked to me !!! Today is Tuesday..I say oh boo it's Tuesday today,she replies are you ok mommy I know that lol. Boy oh boy!!

  So yes I'm very late with my post for High Hopes Challenges.But here it is...better late than never right !

Easter Greetings

Hello all ! Hope you're having a fabulous Easter weekend. I spent time with the family having dinner last night and today we are having an Easter egg hunt and luncheon.So to squeeze one last card in, I have an Easter card to show you.And our new challenge at Graphicat Sketches this fortnight is for you to pick a previous sketch and play along...

So I have used sketch #9 for my card.My papers are from Graphic 45 .LOVE LOVE this collection Secret Garden . Very pretty and soft elegant feel to it. I used memory box dies for the flourish .The banner is from Spellbinders.I added some Prima and WOC flowers for embellishing.

That's about it.Well of colored with Copics.
