OK So I have been a little slow on getting my mojo back in the game but this card even screams no oomf for me too.I mean typically I have ribbon ,flowers,charms....8 layers lol...all that I could possibly stuff onto a card. I didn't even use ANY patterned paper .

But this card I actually liked.It is a simple yet effective card I think. I actually saw a similar card idea on Pinterest not the same card mind you but the simplicity of it. OH and I sewed lol...nope not stamping the actual machine HAHA. And yes I purposely sewed it crooked,I was not drinking...hmm a thought though lol.

Anyways the new challenge over at High Hopes Stamps is fabulous !!

Water Water Everywhere !

It's a new challenge over at High Hopes Stamps.

WATER WATER EVERYWHERE

**Use an image that has some water or something to do with water like: Fishing, Ocean, Sailing, Beach, Rain, Noah's Arc, Pirates, Pelicans, Whales, Water Skiing, Bath Tub, Bird Bath, etc**

REMEMBER TO USE A HIGH HOPES STAMP IMAGE 

I decided to use Surfer Dude Dudley. He cracks me up in those cute shorts lol. He's always fun to color up with my copics. I used some OLD papers from Echo Park ...summer days. That cute little chipboard  anchor is NEW .My girlfriend sent to me,loving it for summer cards.Embellishments for summer are hard to find. The cute wave border is from Memory Box.It's becoming a fav of mine. I totally forgot to take a pic of the inside but the sentiment said...."Hey Hot stuff ...Have a sizzlin' summer".

Xmas in July

Ok this heat has officially affected my brain. I completely forgot to do this post lol. All I can think of is how to cool down. But tonite it has actually cooled down enough so I can think lol. And I must say this challenge has thrown me for a loop. Making Xmas cards now ?? Little odd for me.Although this may make it easier to have enough cards at Xmas time. It just feels like I should be sipping Hot chocolate,in my warm jammies and staring out the window at snow falling. But no I'm half naked and sweat dripping right off my nose lol.

So As you guessed ,our challenge at High Hopes Stamps is

I have used Chris Mouse for my card.An oldie but a goodie. My poinsettia flowers are from a Tim Holtz die. I added glitter around the edges.Gotta have glitter lol.The hanging stars are a Memory Box die. Loving these...Of course added glitter lol. So join me in getting all those Xmas cards done early lol and join our challenge all at the same time.
