Xmas in July

Well I am very late with posting this card.High Hopes Challenge(which started Tuesday) is 

LACE OR RIBBON

Now I have been seeing lots of Xmas in July Challenges.Now I really struggle with making xmas or winter cards when I'm in tank tops,shorts and sweating. LoL, I really don't feel right.I should be doing summery and flower cards. But it's called a challenge for a reason..so here ya go.

I used a Dustin Pike monkey image...one of my favs.

I made this card pretty simple,as I type this I notice I forgot to put a sentiment on,d'oh!!

I used a spellbinder,Lifestyle Crafts die for circle and TH snowflake die.The paper is a glitter from Reminicse ,I believe from two years ago. It's been in my stash and sooo pretty I didn't want to use it.lol

Baby bug

Hi there.Hope you are having a great day. I had to show you this cutie. I fell in love with these fairies over at Mo Manning.So adorable.I think this is a very versatile image,baby,birthday,thinking of you..whatever. I was able to use the pretty papers from Prima. I also used the Memory Box die outline leaf and leaf .It's two seperate dies,you can use alone or layered like mine.

I also embossed the oval die behind my image with the cute heart folder.( I think it's from Sizzix)

What's not pretty wings without glitter on them....

My flower cluster corner consists of WOC  and Prima flowers.I added some tulle for softness.

Summer Fun

It's summertime at High Hopes Stamps Challenges.Nothing seems more fitting right now to see your SUMMER FUN projects.

It has been very hot here,some I know are loving it. I am not a heat fan.It is beautiful sunny weather,my children are loving going down the road to the lake though.lol

So today my card was a quicky one.I had company this weekend hanging out with my Sis-in-law,who I haven't seen in awhile.I always look forward to it,this winter I look forward to my other sis-in-law coming for a visit from Egypt.

 Anyways..I used this oldie but great HH stamp. These ants crack me up, I know I wish on a hot day it would be me on the top lol.

I wanted to show you a close up of the glass as I added glossy accents on it.It really hard to get a good picture of it.Hopefully you can see.I do think I added too much to it as well cause my paper was curling lol.

So I hope you enjoy and do join us. Also on another note.I realize this is my 500 post,I haven't got all my candy together...blame my SIL lol. So I will get it together and get it up ASAP !!

Birthday Boy

Ooops I wanted to post this on my nephews birthday but completely forgot.My nephew celebrated his first birthday ! I was struggling with of course wanting to make a very special birthday card,being it's his first.But I thought he really doesn't care and would probably just eat it lol. But I did come across this image and thought cute ,quick to color...PERFECT !Yes I literally made this the day of his party.You know me..last minute queen.lol.

This image is from Paper Shelter. The papers,which have become a fav of mine for boys,is Doodlebugs FOR THE BOYS. It comes with paper that has gears/sprockets,skateboards etc .All the good stuff for boys.

Sketch it at High Hopes

Welcome..it's Tuesday and time for a new challenge at High Hopes Challenges.This week Anna is hosting and she has a sketch for you to play with. As you all know I am a sucker for sketches. 

So here is my take on the sketch. I am using Karen's Thinking of you stamp. For you who know me,this is a very simple card for me.I usually cover my cards until there's no room to do so.But It's nice actually to create a nice quick card.

Graphicat Sketch Challenge #12

Well it looks like we have finally got our summer.At least for a few weeks.You never know with mother nature.I think she changes her mind more often than her undies lol. 

Well we have a new sketch for you over at Graphicat Sketch Challenges.

Did you know that Graphicat Designs carries Whimsy stamps ? ? I used a sentiment set from Whimsy and also the ticket die to match ! ! fabulous ! !  My image is a gorjus girl from Sugar Nellie. The paper is from Webster Pages,which I can't remember the name of the collection. I think I really like this color combo...well any blues and browns are great together.
