Adore.........

Today we have a new sketch for you at Graphicat Sketch Challenges. This time I actually did not rotate the sketch. It's always fun to be able to do that but for my image it worked right side up. So the Graphicat Store has the new Elizabeth Bell stamps, I had to have them. You may have already seen one that I've played with but had to do another. 

Now I also shocked myself by pulling out a very old paper line from Basic Grey. I have so much new but pulled out old??? LOL Sometimes you just gotta acknowledge the old goodies so they don't feel left out. But no fretting,I still used some new products.The tag and ticket is from Tim Holtz and the flourish under the flower and butterfly is from Memory Box.

Wedding...

Just a quick wedding card I made. Now I don't have anyone getting married but I saw this sentiment and wanted to use it.I had a lot of fun getting inky on this card. The background stamp is a Tim Holtz.

I used his distress stains to ink around.I used broken china and peeled paint. I wanted this to be simple and elegant so I added some ribbon and pearls and that's about all. The flowers are from Memory Box dies.

Pretty in Purple

Today the High Hopes Divas are crazy for purple. Our Diva Andrea would like to see lots of purple in honor of her favorite color. What a fab challenge...well I guess if you like purple lol. I do !! 

Today I am using Diva Karen's newest stamp release.Well it was a month or so ago...still kinda new. 

You can find it here. Now I embossed the stamp in black and then painted with Lindy's Stamp gang mica powders. FUN FUN, I wish I could of gotten a better picture of the cool colors.

I can't quite remember what papers I used .But I also dry embossed the background with swirls by Cuttlebug. 

Actually this card was very quick and simple.

Hello Everyone ! ! I hope you all had a good weekend. I keep crossing my fingers that spring is here to stay maybe..? We have been getting a few April showers. But then I had frost on my car yesterday morning ??Weird??

So we have a new sketch for you today at Graphicat Sketch Challenges. I had to use this new sentiment from Graphicat Designs, can be found here. It just cracked me up. Maybe cause it describes me so well. LOL. Nope I just can't do normal.It's just not in my genes.

So I paired the sentiment with this image from Simply Betty.... 

yep I think I look like that in the morning lol.

Birthday Girl

Well the day is here.Today is my daughter's 18th birthday. I struggled to make this card. The papers,the image....not knowing what I was gonna do.I wanted it to be special so I put a lot of pressure on myself. I think maybe because I didn't want her to turn 18 lol.

So onto my card...I used an image from Make it Crafty.I love this girl but she took me forever to color with my copics...and I'm still not that happy with it. I struggle with getting the shading proper. But hey we all have to critique our own. Even as I look at this pic ,it is a much darker purple...me taking bad pics.lol

I made this an easel card. I used Bo Bunny papers " Enchanted". Now I have all sorts of embellies on this card.lol.Yep me piling it on again ! 

Now the spray of embellishment is  flowers,feathers,Prima and WOC flowers with Tim Holtz film strip.I made the  big purple flower out layers of flowers . I painted them with Lindy Stamp Gang Mica Magicals. The dies and border punch are from Memory Box, Sizzix and Martha Stewart.

Live Laugh Love

HI everyone.Hope you're having a fabulous Easter weekend. Today I'm sharing with you this card featuring the NEW Elizabeth Bell stamps. I just love her stamps.You can find them at Graphicat Designs store. Hopefully I will be able to show you more of these images,cause of course I had to get all four of them.

So I paired this cutie up with Prima's Sun Kiss paper.These papers are so soft and pastel.Which gave me the opportunity to work with coloring pastels.Still need more practice but with time I hope.

Some close ups ....That fab flourish with the flowers is from Memory Box.And that cute little tile is from Prima. 

I also wanted to show you the border die from Memory Box...love it !!The banner is from Spellbinders.

So hope you liked...Must get back into my room and make my daughter's 18th Birthday card for next week. Procrastinating going on here...I just don't know what to make..no image is in mind,colors nothing..I want to make it special,so now the pressure I put on myself is huge ! !Maybe I just don't want her to turn 18 !  Oh well I'll see what I come with.

It's Easter at High Hopes

That's right ,we want to see your Easter project. Today I used an oldie HH stamp.I fell in love with this bunny. I couldn't wait to play with this paper line from Moxie. I love the cute little eggs and the Easter baskets. It's a very vintage feel to them yet springy fun.

I also touch based on a little back to basic technique of embossing.(for me lol ) I used a cuttlebug folder,dots I think its called?? I used it on Coredinations cardstock and then sanded the dots....so cute! 

My flowers took me some time playing with colors of sprays to get the color I wanted...My end results was using Glimmer Mists peach and Perfect Pearls Pearl .I actually sprayed on my mat the two sprays mixed them and then used my finger to mix.Then squished those flowers in the puddle...good ole inky fingers!!

Well it looks like you guys had fun with our last challenge.I think this one will get you motivated again.I had fun with this one. For this challenge's card I played with one of the new "friends" sentiments.It was released last week and is  available in digi form.And of course more fabulous sentiments. They can be found here.

So I teamed the sentiment up with a Simply Betty image.It's called Christian and Chaos. Love that little lizard.I am hoping this card came out suitable for a teen boy maybe??  I added some metal gears from Tim Holtz and cut out his skull and gears die of grungeboard. I painted it and added crackle to it.
