Happy Holidays

OK as promised I am back with different colors other than red and green :) Today I am using a Magnolia stamp(which I can't remember the name). She's adorable. I found this old BG paper from my stash,I just love plaid. The snowman chipboard and hearts are from Pink Paislee which I colored up. My flowers are from WOC. That pretty snowflake border is from Memory Box. The sentiment is on a die from Spellbinders. The image is surrounded by a stamp by Bo Bunny....love it ! 

Snow Days

Oh my a layout !! It's been sooo long since I did any scrapbooking. I have been so busy doing cards.But I was really starting to miss it. I think I need to keep alternating .I am soo far behind already on the girls scrapbook,even more since it's been hmmmf number of years since I've done a layout lol.

So a few details and some pic heavy..Papers are from Bo Bunny ...love love this line ! The snowman is a TH grunge piece with I painted with his pewter metallic stain.Oh so pretty . The snowflakes are from Pink Paislee,they have the resist on them so some I spritzed with Dylusions spray.The banner is also resist from PP.You'll see in the close up pic the resist. It works either way alone or sprayed,inked ..whatever.

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Just a quick post ...so much to do and so little time to do it.One is getting my Xmas cards done. Here is one to show you. This is a Magnolia bear Coco with present.So sweet. I used the grunge sentiment from Lili of the Valley. Now I know this is not your typical colors for Xmas but I love it. This Pink Paislee Xmas paper is fabulous.  Ok so off to work I go working on more Xmas cards .Hope you enjoyed,I'll be back with some more :)

Happy Winter Wishes

Well I hope all your holiday wishes came true. After having a couple of weeks of not being in my craft room,it's time to put my nose back to the grind. It's a new Year and a new challenge.

With that comes Something Old and Something New...that is our challenge this week at Scrap Creations

Now for my OLD I have used my High Hopes Stamp ,he's an oldie but a goodie.For my NEW I used the collection from Pink Paislee SNOW DAY.

I mounted my snowman onto a Maya Road Chipboard Doily.I first inked it with Rangers Snow cap paint then added Rock Candy.Once that was dry I used Tumbled Glass distress ink on it.For me that was a new technique,may be old for others.LOL.  

I also used Rangers Snow Cap Paint along the edges of my papers.It's not a great pic but hopefully you can see well enough.The ribbon is from my OLD stash and the snowflake ribbon is from my new stash.

So as I said in the beginning A new year comes with change.At Scrap Creations we say goodbye to old and hello to new. We have 2 DT members leaving us,we say farewell to Jackie and Frances.We wish them well and thank them for all their great works of art!!You will be missed!
