Happy Holidays

OK as promised I am back with different colors other than red and green :) Today I am using a Magnolia stamp(which I can't remember the name). She's adorable. I found this old BG paper from my stash,I just love plaid. The snowman chipboard and hearts are from Pink Paislee which I colored up. My flowers are from WOC. That pretty snowflake border is from Memory Box. The sentiment is on a die from Spellbinders. The image is surrounded by a stamp by Bo Bunny....love it ! 

Tilda in Key Largo

OK time for a card...I had colored up this cutie awhile ago.It was time to add her to a card.She's from magnolia called Tilda in Key Largo from the Summer Memories release. I used Magnolia papers..unsure of which line lol. It looks more blue but it's actually a teal turquoise color. Much like the flowers I used lol. the chipboard flourishes are from Kaisercraft. 

Careful I am on a chipboard love relationship right now.I love to paint ,spray, ink ,emboss ,whatever it will take lol. 

I'm pretty sure though the seahorse is from twiddlybitz..my girlfriend sent it to me lol.

The flowers are a mixture of Prima and WOC.

WISH BIG

 I made this birthday card for my daughter for her 19th.Oh my,yep I'm old enough to have a daughter that age lol. And don't worry I have another one creeping around the corner as well. Why is it that when you want to be happy for your child, you know turning 19 ,being excited for her.... but all you wanna do is cry cause that means your older ? lol. I am happy for her just sad ...cause I'm OLD. 

Well I used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with ice cream sundae( I think lol) I'm hoping it looks more cupcakeish. I colored my image to match papers from Lili of the Valley. I added some WOC flowers and ribbon and tada...I did have a cute charm that I was gonna add to the card and totally forgot ooops lol!

Easter Greetings

Hello all ! Hope you're having a fabulous Easter weekend. I spent time with the family having dinner last night and today we are having an Easter egg hunt and luncheon.So to squeeze one last card in, I have an Easter card to show you.And our new challenge at Graphicat Sketches this fortnight is for you to pick a previous sketch and play along...

You can find our previous sketches here all in one spot for ya. I have used a Magnolia stamp for my card. YES you can use stamps other than Graphicat Designs :) Although you really should check them out ! They are awesome !

So I have used sketch #9 for my card.My papers are from Graphic 45 .LOVE LOVE this collection Secret Garden . Very pretty and soft elegant feel to it. I used memory box dies for the flourish .The banner is from Spellbinders.I added some Prima and WOC flowers for embellishing.

That's about it.Well of colored with Copics.

Easter Greetings

Today I bring you a card that went a lot different in my head and took me forever to create lol. I'm not completely sure with this one,still on the fence with the layout I think.Something is bugging me about it. Not entirely sure what lol. I again am trying out some pastel colors. 

I used Tilda dressed as a chick.I'm not sure of the exact name but it is older. My papers are from We R Memory Keepers,last years Easter pad. My flowers are from WOC. The die cut leaves and Banner is from Memory Box. The egg behind Tilda is from Lifestyle Crafts. I created the yellow egg from Honey Comb paper,cutting it from the die.It was originally white but I sprayed with Tattered Angels Squeezed Lemonade .I then used a sponge brush and painted the edges with Copic Opaque.In the pics you can see a closer look.I also did this with the edges of my paper.

Just for You .....

Hi there ! Sorry it's been quiet.Between having the stomach flu for almost a week and then playing catch up.I tell ya it's hard to do.But I did make this card to show you. It took me a bit to color her up.I'm not completely happy with how it turned out but I think it was time to walk away from the image lol.

I don't know what it is about cameras and reds?? They just don't pick up the color right.It'd more of a dark peachy red. and those blossoms look orange and they are more on the red side lol. And the browns ,you don;t hardly notice them so now my ribbon stands out lol .Oh well.

Can u you believe it ??Only two more days.Honestly I can wait but my kids not so much lol.I have another Magnolia card to shoe you.I think she is my fav Xmas image.That dear just cracks me up.It's almost got that look like " Really?? Can u tell her to put me down !" 

Now the papers are from Kaisercraft Twig & Berry...the Dec 2012 is actually the whole month paper.I used it as the background behind the torn piece.The Swag flowers are from Prima. The little memo pin and sticker Believe is from Tim Holtz. As is the ornament from his seasonal grunge shapes.I covered it with Inkagold-Gold.So that's about it. Hope you like...if I remember I'll be back to post my mom's Xmas card :) If not I'll show ya after

Warm Hearts and Warm Wishes

Ok I few more cards... Here's a dose of purples and blues. My first card uses a Whipper Snapper Stamp . The papers are from Echo Park.Flowers are from WOC. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley. That cute charm spoon,wish I could remember where I got it??!!  I added glob of stickles in it for sugar. There is all kinds of sparkle on this card...hard to see.

My second card features a Magnolia stamp. I used those cute trees from Memory Box dies, and added glitter to each layer.Love how it turned out. The papers are from Bo Bunny. And the middle layer has netting that I found at fabric store used for hat netting.Can't remember what its called. You know the stuff the comes over the face lol.It's hard to see butt he snowflakes are from Studio Calico and I  used metallic silver distress stains.It's quite shiny lol.

Let it Snow ...

Ok So I'm behind in posting some Christmas cards...I will be doing that over the next few days.Then I will be enjoying some down time with the family for Xmas. Hope you're getting ready for Christmas.As always I am not.lol .Although I did start wrapping earlier this year ,than say like Xmas eve lol. So here's a few cards even a few simple ones I did .I didn't quite have enough cards so I whipped a few.

This next card was cased from my crafty friend Debby.I tweaked it a little and yep hers is way better than mine. Her card ROCKED ! 

Apologies for my nail in the corner heehee.I couldn't get it at a good angle for a pic because of the glitter.I had to hold it.lol

Just a quick post ...so much to do and so little time to do it.One is getting my Xmas cards done. Here is one to show you. This is a Magnolia bear Coco with present.So sweet. I used the grunge sentiment from Lili of the Valley. Now I know this is not your typical colors for Xmas but I love it. This Pink Paislee Xmas paper is fabulous.  Ok so off to work I go working on more Xmas cards .Hope you enjoyed,I'll be back with some more :)

Magnolia Bear...

Oh when I saw this fella ,he was a must have. Can't help myself when it comes to cute lol.

Now this color combo is a first for me.I have to say I quite like it.The papers are from Bazzill called Timeless. I added some red cardstock and some red snowflake ribbon.Just for some color to the sepia like tone. The wood snowflakes are from Maya Road and Studio Calico. I stamped my sentiment on to the wooden flag,worked perfectly.

Here is the inside of the card.... I stamped some snowflakes and the word Joy in the background and then stamped the sentiment . The other side of the card was the circle that the image was mounted on sooo waste not..I used it to mount as piece of paper behind the hole and stamped Winter wishes on it.
