Love of the Carrot

Hi peeps ! How about another Easter card ? Yep I and I got  another one after today's card. I'll show you that one tomorrow.But today I'm showing this adorable bunny from Karen's Doodles.It's an oldie but a goodie. I just love the way he's hugging that carrot lol. 

So my papers are not Easter ,as matter fact I believe it was a summer line from My Mind's Eye. I believe in versatility . I have been known to use Christmas papers during the off season lol. Gotta make it work right,And if you're on a budget this is a great start to saving money. 

That delicate beauty of an oval is from Spellbinders. It's a favorite of mine.

Another great chipboard piece from Southern Ridge Trading Co. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin Up onto the chipboard after I agve it a quick dust of distress paint.

I'm back with Wrinkles

Hi everyone,so glad to be back ! As you have read from my last post I was talking care of my mother in law.Sadly she passed away.I was taking time away .It`s been very difficult on the family. I have been in this family for over 22 years and we have lived next door to my in laws for almost 9 years now.And going over there on an almost daily basis has been a routine that makes it hard now with her not there. She will be forever missed and loved. I was very honored to spend the last 5 weeks of her life by her side and  taking care of her.I will treasure it always. But we must move on right ? 

So High Hopes Stamps has a new challenge for this week.We bring you 

LOTS OF LAYERS 

I just love layers lol. Today my card features Ironing Irma.And the sentiment that goes along with it. Gotta love it lol. Because the sentiment was so long I just cut it up into strips :) My papers are from My Mind`s Eye.I wish I could remember the collection name.Maybe losing your memory is hereditary lol....I believe my m-in-law would definitely agree with this card lol.

I would like to say thank you for your patience and understanding for my absence. I promise to be back and showing more projects ! 

Wish Wonder Dreams

Hi ! My Apologies for bad pic.Just couldn't get a good lighting spot to take. 

Of course this happens when you try to take a pic at night instead of in good daylight ! lol

But I of course wanted to share with ya....so I'm sharing my bad lighting faux pas !

 So picture this looking much better.So of course this is a Saturated Canary image,I have been doing a lot of these images lately ?? Hopefully you don't get sick of me doing these.I do know I have a couple more around the corner lol. So bear with me. My papers are from My Mind's Eye and again my memory escapes me as to which line it was. It'll come to me at like 3 am and I'll wake up and have to post it lol. Flowers are from Prima and WOC ,my fav flowers peeps lol. Anyhooo Hopes u like !

Stamp With Fun Recipe Challenge

It's a new challenge for Stamp with Fun Challenges. But it is my last creation as the Guest DT for them. It was only two weeks but so much fun.Thank you Andrea for inviting me ,So glad I did it !! The challenge today is a fabulous one.

RECIPE :

-Lace

  - Flowers

     - 3 Patterned Papers

Now this card is actually a paper bag card.I`m sure you`ve seen them about. This was my first attempt at one but NOT my last. Too fun... I used a Teddy Bo image for this project.And yes it`s my Mom`s mother`s day card. I can show it now that she has it. :)

My papers are from My Mind`s Eye...become a fav.Some details.. Heart stamp is from Bo Bunny which I added M O M with Pink Paislee stickers.Fence die cut is from MFT and I used a Studio G mini heart punch to add the hearts.I can't remember where I got the little butterfly punch. There is some cheese cloth dyed with Vintage Photo distress stain.

Here`s the inside ...under that fringed paper is the bag flap which you can insert a tag or gift card or something. The sentiment to the left is from Verve Stamps and the flourish stamps to the right is from Bo Bunny.

Hmm I think I have covered all the details...If not ask me :)

Another Easel card....

Well oops I'm behind today.I almost forgot to post this. Well I hoped you enjoyed the tutorial on how to make an easel card because our challenge this week is to make one !!Of course remembering to use a HIGH HOPES image. Today I used Bunny with Tulips...one of my fav bunnies. My papers are from My Mind's Eye Be Happy.And embellies are flowers,ribbon,brads,bling..etc. My normal lol.

Today I am showing you a couple of sympathy/Thinking of you cards I had made some time ago. I forgot to share them with you.As you'll see these cards are very simple .

First card I used the Tim Holtz Birdcage and bird die.The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. I believe the sentiment is from Hero Arts. 

This next card I made for a very good friend.She lost a loved one shortly after I had lost my Aunt.Not that wanted this to happen to anyone,it was nice to console each other knowing what we each were going thru.The sentiment is one of my favorites from Cornish Hertiage Farms.The papers are from Bo Bunny "Welcome Home".

Sitting here thinking of you

I bought this CC Designs stamp and couldn't wait to get her inked up!!

She is adorable.I bought the matching mushroom set .....just had to.lol

I used one of my all time favorite paper lines from MME "Breeze" I just love the blues greens and browns together.You must forgive my coloring of the mushrooms.I have NO clue how to do so.More so than anything else I color.The mushrooms were colored and  pieced onto the die cut background.They come separately. 

There is all kinds of goodies going on here.With lace ,ribbon,die cuts,flowers,bling ,glitter 

and pearls.lol
