Merry Christmas Eve..

Oh it's Xmas eve and all is panicking with last minute preparations. I am doing that as well...I am also wishing my baby a Happy Birthday.

11 years ago you were brought to me in a stocking (literally lol ) and you will always be my baby Happy birthday Emma !! 

But my baby is celebrating with her sister sitting at children's hospital while her sister gets her treatment. I am so lucky that they are so close . But we will have Xmas day together :) 

Onto today's cards...First one up is not your traditional colors...But I am happy with it. the image is from Make It Crafty...so adorable. 

The next card is using an image from whipper Snapper...I love this color combo !!

mainly on it.

Birthday Girl

Well the day is here.Today is my daughter's 18th birthday. I struggled to make this card. The papers,the image....not knowing what I was gonna do.I wanted it to be special so I put a lot of pressure on myself. I think maybe because I didn't want her to turn 18 lol.

So onto my card...I used an image from Make it Crafty.I love this girl but she took me forever to color with my copics...and I'm still not that happy with it. I struggle with getting the shading proper. But hey we all have to critique our own. Even as I look at this pic ,it is a much darker purple...me taking bad pics.lol

I made this an easel card. I used Bo Bunny papers " Enchanted". Now I have all sorts of embellies on this card.lol.Yep me piling it on again ! 

Now the spray of embellishment is  flowers,feathers,Prima and WOC flowers with Tim Holtz film strip.I made the  big purple flower out layers of flowers . I painted them with Lindy Stamp Gang Mica Magicals. The dies and border punch are from Memory Box, Sizzix and Martha Stewart.
