Easter Greetings

Today I bring you a card that went a lot different in my head and took me forever to create lol. I'm not completely sure with this one,still on the fence with the layout I think.Something is bugging me about it. Not entirely sure what lol. I again am trying out some pastel colors.

I used Tilda dressed as a chick.I'm not sure of the exact name but it is older. My papers are from We R Memory Keepers,last years Easter pad. My flowers are from WOC. The die cut leaves and Banner is from Memory Box. The egg behind Tilda is from Lifestyle Crafts. I created the yellow egg from Honey Comb paper,cutting it from the die.It was originally white but I sprayed with Tattered Angels Squeezed Lemonade .I then used a sponge brush and painted the edges with Copic Opaque.In the pics you can see a closer look.I also did this with the edges of my paper.

Hi Welcome Tuesday ! Here ,we are on our last stretch of Spring Break.Gotta say Momma is ready for the kids to return lol. Today we have a tutorial over at High Hopes Challenges. Alex has created a cute scenery for a To Go Coffee Cup insert .SO adorable ! Today I made this quick and cute corner bookmark .I used this bunny called Peeking Bunny .And my papers are from Bo Bunny C'est La Vie.

Followers....

Hi. Many of you may have heard or seen the news regarding the end of Google Friend Connect . What does this mean ? Now I don't understand all the mumbo jumbo of it..but I do know that that nice little gadget on the side of your blog that shows you all your friends that follow your blog...will disappear.Now for some that may not matter.The numbers weren't so much of a concern for me however I do look forward to going into my dashboard and checking out all the blogs I follow. I actually find this quite helpful for me,as I follow over 300 blogs lol. I can't remember all of your blog names lol.

So anyways ,where I am going with this is ...there are options.After reading a few different blogs etc, I came across Krista Smith's blog as well,her option.Which I have tried and is fabulous and SUPER easy.I did panic because my computer skills are not that great lol. Now I haven't had much experience(as in time) because I just joined but so far so good.

High Hopes Challenge Dots and Stripes

Welcome back ! Today I went easy on the pics for ya.

We have a new challenge at High Hopes Challenges

DOTS and STRIPES

Lets see your dots and stripes.Maybe on your paper like I have done. I have used an oldie but still great image Gordon Groundhog When I saw this sentiment stamp(D'arcies I believe ,can't remember for sure) I had to use this image for it.It just cracked me up. High Hopes has some great sentiments but it's nice to know their stamps coordinate with others as well.

My papers are from Echo Park nicely named Dots and Stripes lol.I used some chipboard pieces for my embellishing. The banner triangle is actually painted with the new Tim Holtz distress paints (Mustard Seed) Love Love this stuff,I see a lot of painting in my future lol.

Now I have used the new sketch over at Graphicat Sketch Challenges.I did turn it a bit but you may notice my star brads went the wrong direction ..ooops.
