Naughty or Nice

Now I made this card a couple of weeks ago I think.I had used a sketch but for the life of me I can't remember which sketch challenge it came from. It was a fun one...being that some girlfriends and I got together to play.We decided to pick a sketch and see who was the first to complete.I lost lol.I`m too yappy I think.But it was a hoot to do it.It did make me accomplish one thing though..a card.Had I not accepted the challenge this baby may never have had happened lol. 

So yes this is a Saturated Canary image called Candy Cane I believe. She is my fav Xmas image of Saturated Canary. The papers are from Echo Park ..Very Merry. I used my mover/shaper die mini cardinal/poinsettia for the poinsettias. The little bird,stars and banner wood pieces are from Studio Calico. They were a gift from a girlfriend for my bday...I love them and are gonna have to get me some more. Anyhoo hope you like..

Hi all Happy Tuesday ! Can you believe that Xmas is just around the corner ? ? It is coming up quickly...yes I am far behind on everything.No matter how prepared you try to be.Even planning ahead months in advance,things still always come up. But I try lol. But today over at High Hopes Challenges we have a cute one for ya.Maybe it'll give you some great ideas for gifts?? Last week Aaemie gave a great tutorial on making a cute gift box...here . Gonna try this ,looks great !

GIFT BOX/ BAG or GIFT CARD HOLDER 

I made a quick and easy mini gift bag .I used my Tim Holtz bag Die. I also used a label die placed in the middle to create the window.I added a piece of acetate( from the packaging of the die lol) I colored

up Slapshot Stanley .Cute isn't he...he screams Canadian eh?? My husband was disappointed they weren't Vancouver Canucks colors lol.  The finishing touch were some coordinating Jelly Belly jellybeans .The brown are rootbeer ,gotta tell ya ...tasty lol.

Oh when I saw this fella ,he was a must have. Can't help myself when it comes to cute lol.

Now this color combo is a first for me.I have to say I quite like it.The papers are from Bazzill called Timeless. I added some red cardstock and some red snowflake ribbon.Just for some color to the sepia like tone. The wood snowflakes are from Maya Road and Studio Calico. I stamped my sentiment on to the wooden flag,worked perfectly.

Here is the inside of the card.... I stamped some snowflakes and the word Joy in the background and then stamped the sentiment . The other side of the card was the circle that the image was mounted on sooo waste not..I used it to mount as piece of paper behind the hole and stamped Winter wishes on it.

Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends ! ! Today I am showing you this cutie from Saturated Canary called Wendy. Love the little dog.My apologies on the picture quality.

Apparently I was a little shaky so it made my picture blurry. My papers are from Kaisercraft..the name escapes my mind at the moment. That cute little zipper pull is from Prima, gotta get me more of those lol. The rest of embellishments are from Prima, WOC , the Ribbon girl and Bo Bunny.
