Hello my friends.Thank you for being so patient since my last post.My computer needed to go in for repairs and a part needed ordering and that took a couple weeks....well it just goes from there. But now we're all good to go.So now I need to get my butt into gear and make some stuff. This is a card a made for my girlfriends birthday. I'm not sure about you but purples do not like being photographed.I had a heck of a time getting a pic that looked like the paper lol. So picture it not as a burgundy but more purple lol.

My image is from Lili of the Valley...I can't believe I had this in my collection and haven't used it yet.So glad I dragged it out. My papers are from Wild Rose Studio-Butterfly Glades My flowers are from WOC and the Ribbon Girl. The butterflies and banner are from Kaiserkraft ,Chipboard pieces.I painted with Seedless preserve distress paint. Love that stuff !

Hug for Ike

OK I have one more card to show you...then on with the festivities. My card features an oldie but goodie. It's from Whipper Snapper. It's called "A hug for Ike"  

I really want to get all the "Ike's" lol. They're so adorable and quick to color.I have used the papers from Wild Rose Studios again. I am just loving them. I have used a Spellbinder die for my image . For my embellies is my usual go to ...chipboard,ribbon and flowers.

I would like to also take the time to say thank you to all my followers for sticking it out with me this year.And I hope to see you all next year as well. I hope you and your family have a fabulous holiday !!

Well the hustle bustle of the last minute details before the big day sure has me busy..how about you? For me I'm also planning my daughter's bday for Xmas eve. My baby is 10 years old....not so much a baby anymore.I sure can see how the "baby syndrom" for your last child hangs on lol. I'm trying but she keeps reminding me she's not.I wish I could keep them all young and cuddly lol..Well a mom can dream can't she ?

Anyway onto my card... The image is from Saturated Canary images.Love this little guy. He was definetly easy to color up and quickly. My papers are from Lili of the Valley. Now onto my embellishments...they vary from Prima,WOC ,twiddlybitz, Studio Calico,Kaisercraft  and Memory Box

Happy Holidays

OK as promised I am back with different colors other than red and green :) Today I am using a Magnolia stamp(which I can't remember the name). She's adorable. I found this old BG paper from my stash,I just love plaid. The snowman chipboard and hearts are from Pink Paislee which I colored up. My flowers are from WOC. That pretty snowflake border is from Memory Box. The sentiment is on a die from Spellbinders. The image is surrounded by a stamp by Bo Bunny....love it !
